hey guys welcome back to island vibe
cooking today I am back with another
amazing recipe for you guys today we
will be making shrimp fried rice and you
guys I found this method to make this
rice without using leftover rice and it
came out perfect you're going to love
this recipe if you new here welcome to

now I'm pretty sure most of you guys
already know how to cook your rice if
you don't this little clip of how to
cook it and the measurement will be done
below so make sure your check at the
description box for that so this is the
rice once it's done cooking I am going
to put it in the fridge for 8 hours okay
or you can freeze your rice yes you can
freeze it yes you guys but I've never
tried it but I heard it's pretty good -
to marinate my shrimp I use onion powder
as well as some pepper just very lightly
and then we're going to move on to the
egg I am using 1 large egg you can use
too if you like and also I like to
remove that white part of the egg is
just something that I like to do ok just
remove that and then beat the egg just
like so once you are done whisking the
eggs just put it on the side and we're
going to move on to the next step now I
added about 2 tablespoons of peanut oil
in this pan right here and for me to
test it I just
a bit of egg in there a little drop of
eggs that means it's hot it's ready just
yeah it's ready now I'm going to add my
eggs in there now you're going to cook
this very lightly you don't want to over
cook the egg you know already because
I'm just gonna leave it on the side of
the pin or you can remove it if you want
but I'm just going to cook it very
lightly for now if it over the side you
need to take all of you know the egg
flip it over and cook it and then we'll
want to put the eggs on the side once
we're done cooking it now
the next one we're going to add a step
LG's I am adding carrots west green bell
pepper I know don't come to me
you can use peas or whatever beans you
want to add in there but I'm just not a
fan of it I I'm just going to add some
green bell pepper in there just
something that I like and yeah we're
going to cook it these are fresh veggies
so they need to be cooked so what I'm
going to do now is just keep stirring
the veggies flip them over so they can
click okay now I did went and add some
onions the reason why they looks like
that is because they were in the freezer
so yeah I am going to make sure I keep
you know stirring it

now I am going to push all of that on
the side now it's time to add my shrimp
so I'm just going to add the shrimp in
there

now you do not want to over cook your
shrimp that is very important so make
sure you do not cook your shrimp for too
long
I don't know just don't overcook your
shrimp or it's gonna be rubbery it's
gonna be chewy you don't want that in my
shrimp were perfectly cooked okay I
didn't cook them for too long now I
noticed it hit it a little bit more oil
so I went in there and I had more oil as
well as some onions as well some fresh
onions not frozen now I am just going to
mix it all together because at this
point everything is stuck just mix it up
together
when I tell you those shrimp were
perfectly cooked they were perfectly

you can see you can see how it's just
right in there now I am going to add
some minced garlic about I'll say a
quarter teaspoon of minced garlic in
there and what else I will be adding and
this recipe is it doesn't need that much
seasoning but it tastes amazing you guys
it tastes really really good

now this is my rice eight hours later
and see how the rice is nice and
individually sitting so that's what you
want I am going to add my rice in there
you should see you see they're not
sticking together
that's how you want your rice to come
out once they're done not mushy or not
sticking together basically and the the
rice is cold it's not hot if it's a
little hot
it's not hot okay if that's hot it's
gonna be mushy make sure it's straight
from the fridge now I am going to add
some soy sauce make sure you're using
the dark soy sauce and now I'm adding
salt in a little bit of sugar okay just
add that in there
yeah the flavor is in the soy sauce by
the way so you don't see me adding too
much seasoning inches it just tastes so
good without you know overdoing it now I
am adding a little bit of pepper you can
use white pepper if you like I don't
have any so I am just going to use the
regular black pepper now for the soy
sauce I didn't want to add too much like
I've been doing on
recent videos adding way too much and
then I can't go back so I keep adding
little by little like I said I will tell
you guys how much that I use in the
description box so check it out
so I am just going to add little by
little mix it up together and add a
little bit more so that's what you're
going to see now

I'll say this is about two serving at
least for me I love fried rice noodles I
eat this all by myself cause it was so
good it was so you know nicely done it
was perfect
now this is how it looks once I added
all my soy sauce and everything is nice
and settle and cook this is how it looks
see it just looks so fried rice like
it's not sticking together and the color
is so beautiful and the shrimp is
perfectly cooked
I added some green onions for
garnishment and basically this is it
this recipe was really easy for me I
hope it will be easy for you because it
was very easy and it tastes it tastes
good like this is restaurant style
better than taste out okay make this at
